2002 Grey stallion
Speedy's sire is the stallion imported from Belgium, *Dubbel LL's Swifty B-40404, (1A29), deceased. His dam is Gayfields Call the Hotline, a full sister to Gayfields Call the Cops, LOM, AOE and Gayfields Call the Lawyer, LOM (deceased). Speedy is a blending of two very successful bloodlines and one of three Swifty colts in the US.
Speedy was shown at a double Gold show in 2002 and was pinned reserve champion junior stallion by one judge. He was shown at a couple of shows in 2003 and was always pinned in the upper ribbons. He was pinned reserve grand champion junior stallion at the American National in 2004.
Speedy was leased to Gayfields in the spring of 2005 where he began his show career in the Southeast by winning a good class of four excellent 3 and 4 year old stallions at the Gulf Coast Spring Show before being named Reserve Champion Stallion (both Judges) behind his "cousin" Rollingwoods Cookie Thief!Speedy ended a successful show season back at the Gulf Coast, this time for the Fall Show. He won the 3 and 4 year old stallion class again, both judges, and went on to be Champion Section B Stallion under both, beating Cookie Thief for the very first time! Judge Schiller named him Reserve Grand Champion B! Speedy stayed home in 2006 to concentrate on his other duties. His first foals, a colt and a filly, arrived in the spring of 2007. (See below.)
