There is a lot of information to parse and a lot of UI features to customize in World of Warcraft, and even with the vast new UI options introduced in Dragonflight's Edit Mode, there are still a lot of things only addons can do. The best WoW addons improve your gameplay experience by simplifying the UI, adding modernized features, or helping to track objectives in a more efficient manner than the base game.

WoW: The War WIthin – Easiest Delves Tier List

Out of the twelve Delves in WoW: The War Within, just three of them are easy enough to finish in less than ten minutes reliably.

These seven of the best addons for WoW: The War Within have been selected for their improvements to the user experience or for their usefulness in endgame group content. Very few of these best WoW: TWW addons have prerequisites, and each can be downloaded and installed via the Curseforge mod manager.

BetterBags

BetterBags is an incredibly useful mod for players who have trouble organizing their bags effectively. This WoW: TWW inventory addon essentially groups up items of the same type together in your bag and overhauls the UI to separate these items from each other in different areas.

By default, it sorts items into a few basic categories like Crafting Materials, Reagents, Quest Items, and separate categories for every type of gear you can equip (Head, Legs, Feet, Trinket, etc). You can also make custom categories, in case the mod doesn't automatically sort something the way you would like it to – for example, with BetterBags, you can make a section in your bags just for secondary armor sets for switching between PvE and PvE on the fly.

HandyNotes

WoW: Best The War Within Addons (3)

HandyNotes is your one-stop shop for tracking everything you can find and collect in the world. This addon adds a variety of symbols to your map that show the exact locations and possible rewards from Rare Elites, world treasures, and other collectible items like Dirt mounds for Snuffling.

It's easier than ever to level up in WoW, but by using these fastest leveling tips, WoW players will get to 80 in just a few hours.

HandyNotes can be customized to display as much or as little information as possible, and make symbols disappear when you have collected everything you can from a treasure or rare. It also displays requirements for various Achievements, like the Delve Loremaster achievement when you hover over Delve entrances.

World Quest Tracker

WoW: Best The War Within Addons (5)

World Quest Tracker is, like HandyNotes, useful because it makes the World Quest system much easier to parse at a glance. With this WoW UI addon, a list of currently-available World Quests will appear on the left side of your map for every zone. When you zoom out to see all of Khaz Algar, it will display all currently-active World Quests in this list across the entire expansion.

The list functions the same way that World Quest icons do – hover over an item on the list to see its possible rewards, and click on it to track the World Quest and be guided to its location. This addon saves a lot of time when farming Renown or useful World Quest rewards like Valorstones.

OPie

WoW: Best The War Within Addons (6)

OPie is a bit of a specialist addon that adds an easy way to access a lot of buttons with the press of one button. Essentially, OPie adds a pop-up Ring interface when you press a configured button that displays a customizable list of other abilities to select with your mouse. It's amazing for reducing button bloat, and makes accessing all of your abilities much easier if you don't have a gaming mouse.

All WoW 20th Anniversary Tier 2 Armor Set Appearances

All thirteen classes will get an HD Tier 2 appearance in the WoW 20th Anniversary Event, which can be purchased with a new Currency.

For example, Druid players can use OPie to bind all of their possible Druid Forms to a single button and flick between them on the fly. All players can bind one button to a Ring filled with their favorite Mounts instead of relying on the Summon Favorite Mount ability to choose one for you, or a Ring that contains your favorite Toys to access quickly instead of futzing with the Warband Collection interface.

Hekili Priority Helper

WoW: Best The War Within Addons (8)

If you want to get better at playing your WoW class without having to worry about finding and customizing the perfect WeakAura, Hekili is a great backup. Though Weakauras has plenty of strengths and is highly recommended for high-level play, consider using Hekili if you just want to improve your rotations.

Hekili provides a simple interface below your character that suggests what ability to use next. That's really about it – no worrying about installing the right Weakaura script, or customizing its visuals, or anything like that. Hekili pulls its rotation information from SimulationCraft, a site dedicated to optimizing class and spec rotations in different circumstances. It works for DPS and Tank specs, currently, but Healers may not find as much success with its default "Action Packs".

Details!

WoW: Best The War Within Addons (9)

Details! is one of the most important addons for improving one's performance in high-level endgame content. This lightweight addon essentially tracks everything that happens in combat and displays that information in a player-by-player list, ranking them by most to least in a variety of different categories.

Of course, the Details addon is one of the best WoW mods for tracking damage output, but it can also track Healing, Aggro, the number of Interrupts done by each player, and lots of other nitty-gritty information. Use this to track your own DPS over time and compare it against group members or to help analyze what went wrong in an encounter before trying again.

MinimapButtonButton

WoW: Best The War Within Addons (11)

MinimapButtonButton is one of the most useful WoW UI mods for players who have too many addons installed. Most high-level WoW players have dozens of addons active at once, including many useful addons that aren't mentioned on this list (like Deadly Boss Mods, Leatrix Plus, Mythic Dungeon Tools, and others).

Having more addons means having more little buttons clogging up screen space, but MinimapButtonButton essentially condenses all of these buttons into a single menu. This grey icon can be found by the minimap (and can be moved with the middle mouse button). When toggled, it will display the minimap buttons for all of your currently-installed addons to the left side of the button.

Some addons are not compatible with MinimapButtonButton and will still show their icon by the minimap separately. But, for the addons it does work with, MinimapButtonButton does wonders to clean up the UI and make everything easier to access.
